Con razon 0001
This episode is the first of my new q&a series Con razón. sPod listeners will recognize the format; it's basically a continuation of the old Pa' que sepas show. My cohost is the lovely Nahyeli.
Thanks as always to the generous support of Tito of thsounds.com, who graciously provides the production music.
In this episode: What's the proper response when someone wishes you a good weekend? How can you magnify an adjective? What's the difference between "el mejor" and "lo mejor?" What are some colloquial ways to ask someone how they're doing? All that, plus a quick reference guide for "por" and "para."
In this episode, my mama joins me in the studio to talk about growing up in Santo Tomás, her colorful rural hometown.
Here's a podcast with my friend Erin, a once and future Spanish teacher colleague of mine. In the show, she shares about her brush with death! Thanks to Tito for the music: http://thsounds.com
Acentos 0002: Two Truths & a Lie
This episode is in English; my guest is Heather, my sister. In this one we play a round of Two Truths and a Lie. Enjoy!
"Acentos" is just a personal podcast, where I interview friends and family. In episode 0001, my guest is my sister Heather. We recorded this one in Spanish; Heather is off to Costa Rica pretty soon, and will spend most of the summer there, studying Spanish. When she gets back to Seattle, we'll record another episode of Acentos to hear how her Spanish has improved (hopefully). In this episode, we'll talk about her upcoming trip, as well as drink a famous Pickleback.
The background music was courtesy of my friend Tito at http://thsounds.com. Check him out!

DutchPod, maybe?
My friend Bas came in for a tour of Praxis Language. We went into Studio Fiesta and did a DutchPod. Maybe someday? We'll see!
